Google Playstore to add app comparison feature

Google is going to add a new app comparison section in the Playstore. The feature will be first introduced in the Playstore for media players apps. This means that the users would be able to compare various apps at one place before selecting and downloading the best app for their smartphones.

Playstore App Comparison Feature

This new feature will help the users to select the right app for their smartphones from the collection of millions of available apps in the Google Playstore. The app comparison feature can also provide opportunities to small app developers to get more app downloads, if there apps has good features. This new feature would also facilitate the users to know the details of similar apps without having to make efforts to go to individual apps for knowing their features.

The app comparison section would be located at the bottom of the app page in the Playstore. The app comparison feature currently does comparison of media player apps only, based upon the criteria of ease of use, offline play support, streaming or casting capabilities, visual quality and controls. This new feature would also facilitate the users by providing the app features and other details of various apps at one place. The users would also be able to discover new apps through the use of the app comparison feature.
